Preparing for CE Marking

In July 2013, the transitional period between the Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC and the Construction Products Regulations (CPR) ends and manufacturers placing goods on the market across the region are obliged to carry CE Marking on their fire, smoke and heat detecting products.

The process of achieving CE Marking under the CPR varies in some ways from CE Marking to other Directives. Instead of making a Declaration of Conformity, a Declaration of Performance is required.  This paper highlights what’s involved and how you can prepare for the process. Download it below.
